Daniel 7:1New Messianic Version BibleIn the first year of Belshazzar king of Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion] Dani’el [God is Judge] had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, [and] told the sum of the matters. See the chapter |
After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and broke in pieces, and stamped the residue (part that remains, the rest) with the feet of it: and it [was] diverse from all the beasts that [were] before it; and it had ten horns.
Then Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] called Barukh [Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous)] the son of Neriyah [lamp of Yehovah]: and Barukh [Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous)] wrote from the mouth of Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] all the words of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), which he had spoken unto him, upon a roll of a book.
Then took Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] another roll, and gave it to Barukh [Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous)] the scribe, the son of Neriyah [lamp of Yehovah]; who wrote in it from the mouth of Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] all the words of the book which Y’hoyakim [Yehovah raises up] king of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] had burned in the fire: and there were added besides unto them many like words.
