Daniel 6:7

New Messianic Version Bible

All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counselors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] or man for thirty days, save of youi, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.

For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not [for] my transgression, nor [for] my sin, O Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate].


And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counselors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.


And whoso falls not down and worships shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

But the chief priests consulted that they might put El’azar [whom God helps] also to death;


And immediately in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and Torah-teachers (Scribes) and the whole council, and bound Yeshua [God is Salvation], and carried [him] away, and delivered [him] to Pilate [armed with a spear].


They took counsel together to seize Yeshua [God is Salvation] by craftiness and to kill him.


Then the P’rushim (Pharisees) [separatists] took counsel and plotted to put him to death.


He lies in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lies in wait to catch the poor: he does catch the poor, when he draws him into his net.


The lion did tear in pieces enough for his whelps, and strangled for his lionesses, and filled his holes with prey, and his dens with ravin.


O my people, remember now what Balak [Devastator] king of Mo’av [Seed of my Father] consulted, and what Bil’am [Not of the People] the son of B’or [Burning] answered him from Sheetim [The Acacias] unto Gilgal [A Wheel, Rolling]; that you2f may know the righteousness of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).


And whoso falls not down and worships, [that] he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.


Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with youi, which frames mischief by a law?


The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], and against his anointed, [saying],


For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against youi:


Then the king commanded, and they brought Dani’el [God is Judge], and cast [him] into the den of lions. [Now] the king spoke and said unto Dani’el [God is Judge], You1s God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] whom youi serve continually, he will deliver youi.


youi therefore, O Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] Tz’va’ot [of the Heavenly Armies], the God-Elohe (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel of God], awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah [stop and diligently consider what was just said].


Then spoke the Kasdim [clod-breakers] to the king in Aramaic, O king, live forever: tell youri servants the dream, and we will show the interpretation.


My God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] has sent his angel, and has shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before youi, O king, have I done no hurt.
