Then the king’s Countenance (Face, appearance; show favor) was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his waist were loosed, and his knees struck one against another.

And in the second year of the reign of N’vukhadnetzar [May Nebo protect the crown], N’vukhadnetzar dreamed dreams, which his spirit was troubled, and his sleep broke from him.

We have heard the fame thereof: our hands grow (become; advance) feeble: anguish has taken hold of us, [and] pain, as of a woman in travail.

And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman (slave), and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

Herod [heroic] the king heard and was dismayed and all the inhabitants of Yerushalayim [abode of peace] with him.

Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.

Ask you2f now, and see whether a man does travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his waist, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?

Fear took hold upon them there, [and] pain, as of a woman in travail.

Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and scattered (defeated in battle) them.
