Then came in all the king’s wise [men]: but they could not read the writing, nor make known to the king the interpretation thereof.

Dani’el [God is Judge] answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king has demanded cannot the wise [men], the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, show unto the king;

Then came in the magicians, the astrologers, the Kasdim [clod-breakers], and the soothsayers: and I told the dream before them; but they did not make known unto me the interpretation thereof.

And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Mitzrayim [Egypt], and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but [there was] none that could interpret them unto Pharaoh.

And now the wise [men], the astrologers, have been brought in before me, that they should read this writing, and make known unto me the interpretation thereof: but they could not show the interpretation of the thing:

But these two [things] shall come to youi in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon youi in their perfection for the multitude of youri sorceries, [and] for the great abundance of youri enchantments.

A sword [is] upon the Kasdim [clod-breakers], says the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), and upon the inhabitants of Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion], and upon her princes, and upon her wise [men].

This dream I king N’vukhadnetzar [May Nebo protect the crown] have seen. Now youi, O Belt-shatzar [lord of the straitened (impeded or restricted; narrowed, distressed)’s treasure], declare the interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise [men] of my kingdom are not able to make known unto me the interpretation: but youi [are] able; for the spirit of the holy gods [is] in youi.

I N’vukhadnetzar [May Nebo protect the crown] was at rest in my house, and flourishing in my palace:
