Daniel 5:20New Messianic Version BibleBut when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him: See the chapter |
And he also rebelled against king N’vukhadnetzar [May Nebo protect the crown], who had made him swear by God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from turning unto the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God].
Thus says the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) Tz’va’ot [of the Heavenly Armies], the God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God]; Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon all her towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it, because they have hardened their necks, that they might not hear my words.
Thus says the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate); They also that uphold Mitzrayim [Egypt - The Narrow Place] shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of S’venah [meaning disputed] shall they fall in it by the sword, says the Lord-Adonai [Greatest Above All Things] GOD-Yehōvih (THE FATHER).
And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
