Daniel 5:2

New Messianic Version Bible

Belshazzar, whiles he tasted the wine, commanded to bring the golden and silver vessels which his father N’vukhadnetzar [May Nebo protect the crown] had taken out of the temple which [was] in Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace]; that the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, might drink in it.

And the Lord-Adonai (The Father) [Greatest Above All Things] gave Y’hoyakim king of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]: which he carried into the land of Shin’ar [country of two rivers] to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.

And he carried out from there all the treasures of the house of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), and the treasures of the king’s house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Shlomo (Solomon) [peace] king of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] had made in the temple of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), as the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) had said.

But have lifted up yourself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before youi, and youi, and youi lords, youi wives, and youi concubines, have drunk wine in them; and youi have praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] in whose hand youi breath [is], and whose [are] all youi ways, have youi not glorified:

And the firepans, and the bowls, [and] such things as [were] of gold, [in] gold, and of silver, [in] silver, the captain of the guard took away.

O youi king, the most high God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] gave N’vukhadnetzar [May Nebo protect the crown] youi father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honour:

Then was Dani’el [God is Judge] brought in before the king. [And] the king spoke and said unto Dani’el [God is Judge], [Are] youi that Dani’el [God is Judge], which [are] of the children of the captivity of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised], whom the king my father brought out of Jewry?

There is a man in youi kingdom, in whom [is] the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of youi father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king N’vukhadnetzar [May Nebo protect the crown] youi father, the king, [I say], youi father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Kasdim [clod-breakers], [and] soothsayers;

They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone.

And the basons, and the firepans, and the bowls, and the caldrons, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the cups; [that] which [was] of gold [in] gold, and [that] which [was] of silver [in] silver, took the captain of the guard away.

And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son’s son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of him.

And all the vessels of the house of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], great and small, and the treasures of the house of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), and the treasures of the king, and of his princes; all [these] he brought to Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion].

And when the year was expired, king N’vukhadnetzar [May Nebo protect the crown] sent, and brought him to Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion], with the goodly vessels of the house of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), and made Tzidkiyah [Yehovah is righteous] his brother king over Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] and Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace].

And also [concerning] Ma’akhah [oppression] the mother of Asa [healer; injurious?] the king, he removed her from [being] queen, because she had made an idol in a grove: and Asa [healer; injurious?] cut down her idol, and stamped [it], and burnt [it] at the brook Kidron [dark].

And after her he took Ma’akhah [oppression] the daughter of Avshalom [my father is peace]; which bore him Aviyah [Yehovah is (my) father], and ‘Atai [opportune], and Ziza [shining], and Shlomit [Peaceful].

And David [beloved] said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely show youi kindness for Y’honatan [Yehovah has Given] youri father’s sake, and will restore youi all the land of Sha’ul [desired] youri father; and youi shall eat bread at my table continually.

His offering [was] one silver charger (a large platter or dish), the weight whereof [was] an hundred and thirty [shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:

And the vessels also of gold and silver of the house of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], which N’vukhadnetzar [May Nebo protect the crown] took out of the temple that [was] in Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace], and brought them into the temple of Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion], those did Koresh (Cyrus) [possess you the furnace] the king take out of the temple of Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion], and they were delivered unto [one], whose name [was] Sheshbatzar [worshipper of fire], whom he had made governor;

A sword [is] upon the Kasdim [clod-breakers], says the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), and upon the inhabitants of Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion], and upon her princes, and upon her wise [men].

Then they brought the golden vessels that were taken out of the temple of the house of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] which [was] at Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace]; and the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, drank in them.

In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Kasdim [clod-breakers] slain.
