He cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches:

“Already the axe has reached the root of the tree; the one which does not produce good fruit will be cut down and burned in the fire”. The crowds asked him: ‘If so what shall we do’? Yochanan [Yah is gracious] answered them: “He who has two shirts let him give one to him who has none”. So the people came to be baptized. Many asked him ‘What shall we do’? And he answered them: “Be anxious for no man and do not chastise them, and be pleased with your lot”. And all the people were thinking and reckoning in their circumcised heart: ‘Yochanan [Yah is gracious] is Ha-Moshiach [Messiah] [The Messiah]’.


And whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and [let] his portion [be] with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him;


And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which brings not forth good fruit is cut down, and cast into the fire.

The leaves thereof [were] fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it [was] meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it.


Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,


And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion] the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of demons, and the hold of every foul Spirit [Ruach], and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.


And cried with a loud voice, as [when] a lion roars: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.


But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:


We would have healed Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion], but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go everyone into his own country: for her judgment reaches unto heaven, and is lifted up [even] to the skies.


Flee out of the midst of Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion], and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this [is] the time of the Lord-Yehōvah’s [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] vengeance; he will render unto her a recompense.


The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree.


Therefore thus says the Lord-Adonai [Greatest Above All Things] GOD-Yehōvih (THE FATHER); Because youi have lifted up yourself in height, and he has shot up his top among the thick boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height;


I have made the earth, the man and the beast that [are] upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.


And he changes the times and the seasons: he removes kings, and sets up kings: he gives wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:


At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion].


And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling [was] with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] ruled in the kingdom of men, and [that] he appoints over it whomsoever he will.
