O Tziyon [parched place], that brings good tidings, get youi up into the high mountain; O Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace], that r good tidings, lift up youi voice with strength; lift [it] up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised], Behold your God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]!
Then were the king’s scribes called at that time in the third month, that [is], the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth [day] thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordekhai [little man] commanded unto the Y’hudim (Judeans), and to the lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of the provinces which [are] from India unto Ethiopia [Kush], an hundred twenty and seven provinces, unto every province according to the writing thereof, and unto every people after their language, and to the Y’hudim (Judeans) according to their writing, and according to their language.
Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counselors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that N’vukhadnetzar [May Nebo protect the crown] the king had set up; and they stood before the image that N’vukhadnetzar [May Nebo protect the crown] had set up.
Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet (a wind instrument; horn; trumpet), flute, harp, sackbut (triangular, 4-stringed instrument, like a lyre), Psaltery (stringed instrument, like an harp), and all kinds of music, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down [and] worshipped the golden image that N’vukhadnetzar [May Nebo protect the crown] the king had set up.
youi, O king, have made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet (a wind instrument; horn; trumpet), flute, harp, sackbut (triangular, 4-stringed instrument, like a lyre), Psaltery (stringed instrument, like an harp), and dulcimer, and all kinds of music, shall fall down and worship the golden image:
