Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire killed those men that took up Shadrakh [royal, or the great scribe], Meishakh [guest of the king], and ‘Aved-N’go [servant of Nebo].

The wicked [shall be] a ransom for the righteous, and the transgressor for the upright.

The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.

Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Dani’el [God is Judge] [the name] of Belt-shatzar [lord of the straitened (impeded or restricted; narrowed, distressed)’s treasure]; and to Hananyah [God has favoured], of Shadrakh [royal, or the great scribe]; and to Michael [Who is what God is], of Meishakh [guest of the king]; and to ‘Azaryah [Yehovah has helped], of ‘Aved-N’go [servant of Nebo].

And he went and found his carcass cast in the way, and the ass and the lion standing by the carcass: the lion had not eaten the carcass, nor torn the ass.
