Daniel 3:1

New Messianic Version Bible

N’vukhadnetzar [May Nebo protect the crown] the king made an image of gold, whose height [was] threescore cubits, [and] the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion].

Woe unto him that says to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it [is] laid over with gold and silver, and [there is] no breath at all in the midst of it.

Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they [are] no gods?

They lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance, [and] hire a goldsmith; and he makes it a god: they fall down, yes, they worship.

They have set up kings, but not by me: they have made princes, and I knew [it] not: of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off.

Moreover you2f see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus [permitted], but almost throughout all Asia [orient], this Sha’ul [desired] has persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands:

Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God-The Father, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by are and man’s device.

In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made [each one] for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;

The idols of the heathen [are] silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves [of] gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace]: behold youri gods, O Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God], which brought youi up out of the land of Mitzrayim [Egypt - The Narrow Place].

But have lifted up yourself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before youi, and youi, and youi lords, youi wives, and youi concubines, have drunk wine in them; and youi have praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] in whose hand youi breath [is], and whose [are] all youi ways, have youi not glorified:

Then the king made Dani’el [God is Judge] a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion], and chief of the governors over all the wise [men] of Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion].

Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish [yellow jasper], and gold from Ufaz [desire of fine gold], the work of the workman, and of the hands of the founder: blue and purple [is] their clothing: they [are] all the work of cunning [men].

You2f shall defile also the covering of youri graven images of silver, and the ornament of youri molten images of gold: youi shall cast them away as a monstrous cloth; youi shall say unto it, Get youi hence.

The graven images of their gods shall you2f burn with fire: youi shall not desire the silver or gold [that is] on them, nor take [it] unto youi, lest youi be snared in it: for it [is] an abomination to the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered].

And Moshe [He Who Draws Out Of The Waters] returned unto the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.

You2f shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall you2f make unto you gods of gold.

And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

Then the king promoted Shadrakh [royal, or the great scribe], Meishakh [guest of the king], and ‘Aved-N’go [servant of Nebo], in the province of Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion].

Now it came to pass in the days of Achashverosh [I will be silent and poor], (this [is] Achashverosh [I will be silent and poor] which reigned, from India even unto Ethiopia [Kush], [over] an hundred and seven and twenty provinces:)

N’vukhadnetzar [May Nebo protect the crown] spoke and said unto them, [Is it] true, O Shadrakh [royal, or the great scribe], Meishakh [guest of the king], and ‘Aved-N’go [servant of Nebo], do not you2f serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?

They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone.

For she did not know that I gave her corn, and wine, and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold, [which] they prepared for Ba’al [lord (a false god)].

Then Dani’el [God is Judge] requested of the king, and he set Shadrakh [royal, or the great scribe], Meishakh [guest of the king], and ‘Aved-N’go [servant of Nebo], over the affairs of the province of Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion]: but Dani’el [God is Judge] [sat] in the gate of the king.
