Now youi, O Belt-shatzar [lord of the straitened (impeded or restricted; narrowed, distressed)’s treasure], declare the interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise [men] of my kingdom are not able to make known unto me the interpretation: but youi [are] able; for the spirit of the holy gods [is] in youi.

The first [was] like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.
