Then Aryokh [lion-like] brought in Dani’el [God is Judge] before the king in haste, and said thus unto him, I have found a man of the captives of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised], that will make known unto the king the interpretation.

Then answered they and said before the king, That Dani’el [God is Judge], which [is] of the children of the captivity of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised], regards not youi, O king, nor the decree that youi have signed, but makes his petition three times a day.


Then was Dani’el [God is Judge] brought in before the king. [And] the king spoke and said unto Dani’el [God is Judge], [Are] youi that Dani’el [God is Judge], which [are] of the children of the captivity of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised], whom the king my father brought out of Jewry?


Now among these were of the children of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised], Dani’el [God is Judge], Hananyah [God has favoured], Michael [Who is what God is], and ‘Azaryah [Yehovah has helped]:


Whatsoever youi hand finds to do, do [it] with youi might; for [there is] no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, to which youi go.


If youi refrain (restrain; refrein from acting) to deliver [them that are] drawn unto death, and [those that are] ready to be slain;


These [are] the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity, of those that had been carried away, whom N’vukhadnetzar [May Nebo protect the crown] the king of Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion] had carried away, and came again to Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace] and to Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised], every one unto his city;


Then Pharaoh (Great House) sent and called Yosef (Increaser; May God the Powerful One add [Yah]), and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved [himself], and changed his clothing, and came in unto Pharaoh.
