I think myself happy, king Agrippa [Hero like], because I shall answer for myself this day before youi touching all the things whereof I am accused of the Y’hudim (Judeans) [praised of Yah]:

Does our law judge [any] man, before it hear him, and know what he does?

Because I have called, and you2f refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;

To whom I answered, It is not the manner of the Romans [strength] to deliver any man to die, before that he which is accused have the accusers face to face, and have license to answer for himself concerning the crime laid against him.

Men, brethren, and fathers, hear you2f my defense [which I make] now unto you.

[He that is] first in his own cause [seems] just; but his neighbour cometh and searches him.

He that answers a matter before he hears [it], it [is] folly and shame unto him.

Behold, therefore I have stretched out my hand over youi, and have diminished youri ordinary [food], and delivered youi unto the will of them that hate youi, the daughters of the P’lishtim [Immigrants], which are ashamed of youri lewd way.

I will speak of youri testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.

For it seems to me unreasonable to send a prisoner, and not withal to signify the crimes [laid] against him.
