Acts 10:2New Messianic Version Bible[A] devout [man], and one that feared God-The Father with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God-The Father always. See the chapter |
And they said, Cornelius [severed] the Centurion (Roman commander of an hundred men), a just man, and one that fears God-The Father, and of good report among all the nation of the Y’hudim (Judeans) [praised of Yah], was warned from God-The Father by an holy angel to send for youi into his house, and to hear words of youi.
I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of Dani’el [God is Judge]: for he [is] the living God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], and steadfast forever, and his kingdom [that] which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion [shall be even] unto the end.
And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Dani’el [God is Judge]: [and] the king spoke and said to Dani’el [God is Judge], O Dani’el [God is Judge], servant of the living God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], is youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], whom youi serve continually, able to deliver youi from the lions?
Now when Dani’el [God is Judge] knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace], he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], as he did aforetime.
And it was so, when the days of [their] feasting were gone about, that Iyov [hated] sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings [according] to the number of them all: for Iyov [hated] said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] in their hearts. Thus did Iyov [hated] continually.
Then hear youi from the heavens, [even] from youri dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calls to youi for; that all people of the earth may know youri name, and fear youi, as [does] youri people Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God], and may know that this house which I have built is called by youri name.
Hear youi in heaven youri dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calls to youi for: that all people of the earth may know youri name, to fear youi, as [do] youri people Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God]; and that they may know that this house, which I have built, is called by youri name.
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), choose you this day whom you2f will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that [were] on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Emori [Highlanders], in whose land you2f dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).
For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), to do justice and judgment; that the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) may bring upon Avraham [exalted father/Fly They Will] that which he has spoken of him.
