And he struck Mo’av [Seed of my Father], and measured them with a line, casting them down to the ground; even with two lines measured he to put to death, and with one full line to keep alive. And [so] the Mo’avi [of his father] became David’s [beloved]’s servants, [and] brought gifts.

Mo’av [Seed of my Father] [is] my washpot; over Edom [Red] will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.

And the ‘Amon [Inbred] gave gifts to ‘Uziyah [my strength is Yehovah]: and his name spread abroad [even] to the entering in of Mitzrayim [Egypt - The Narrow Place]; for he strengthened [himself] exceedingly.

And he struck Mo’av [Seed of my Father]; and the Mo’avi [of his father] became David’s [beloved]’s servants, [and] brought gifts.

Against him came up Shalman’eser [fire-worshipper] [fire-worshipper] king of Ashur [the level plain] (the land of the sons of Shem (name, renown (great reputation; being well-known))); and Hoshea [salvation] became his servant, and gave him presents.

Then Mo’av [Seed of my Father] rebelled against Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] after the death of Ach’av [father’s brother].

And he brought forth the people that [were] in it, and put [them] under saws, and under harrows of iron, and under axes of iron, and made them pass through the brick factory: and thus did he unto all the cities of the children of ‘Amon [Inbred]. So David [beloved] and all the people returned unto Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace].

So Sha’ul [desired] took the kingdom over Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God], and fought against all his enemies on every side, against Mo’av [Seed of my Father], and against the children of ‘Amon [Inbred], and against Edom [Red], and against the kings of Tzovah [station], and against the P’lishtim [Immigrants]: and to wherever he turned himself, he vexed [them].

And he brought them before the king of Mo’av [Seed of my Father]: and they dwelt with him all the while that David [beloved] was in the hold.

And Shlomo (Solomon) [peace] reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the P’lishtim [Immigrants], and unto the border of Mitzrayim [Egypt - The Narrow Place]: they brought presents, and served Shlomo (Solomon) [peace] all the days of his life.

The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.

[Will] not youi, O God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], [which] had cast us off? and [youi], O God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], [which] did not go out with our armies?
