2 Samuel 4:3New Messianic Version BibleAnd the Be’erotim [wells] fled to Gittayim [two winepresses], and were sojourners there until this day.) See the chapter |
And when the men of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] that [were] on the other side of the valley, and [they] that [were] on the other side Yarden [Descender], saw that the men of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] fled, and that Sha’ul [desired] and his sons were dead, they forsook the cities, and fled; and the P’lishtim [Immigrants] came and dwelt in them.
And Y’honatan [Yehovah has Given], Sha’ul’s [desired] son, had a son [that was] lame of [his] feet. He was five years old when the tidings came of Sha’ul [desired] and Y’honatan [Yehovah has Given] out of Yizre’el [God Sows], and his nurse took him up, and fled: and it came to pass, as she made haste to flee, that he fell, and became lame. And his name [was] M’fivoshet [exterminating the idol].
