2 Samuel 3:31

And David [beloved] said to Yo’av [Yehovah is father], and to all the people that [were] with him, Rend (tear apart; forcefully rip apart) your clothes, and gird you with sackcloth, and mourn before Avner [my father is a lamp]. And king David [beloved] [himself] followed the bier.

And Ya’akov (he who holds onto the heel of) rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his waist, and mourned for his son many days.

Then David [beloved] took hold on his clothes, and rent them; and likewise all the men that [were] with him:

It came even to pass on the third day, that, behold, a man came out of the camp from Sha’ul [desired] with his clothes rent, and earth upon his head: and [so] it was, when he came to David [beloved], that he fell to the earth, and did obesiance (bowing or kneeling in respect).

And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said, Alas, my daughter! youi have brought me very low, and youi are one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth unto the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), and I cannot go back.

And Y’hoshua [Yehovah is Salvation] rent his clothes, and fell to the earth upon his face before the ark of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) until the eventide, he and the elders of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God], and put dust upon their heads.

And he came and touched the bier: and they that bore [him] stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto youi, Arise.

And it came to pass, when king Hizkiyahu [Yehovah is my strength] heard [it], that he rent his clothes, and covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).

And Re’uven (behold a son) returned unto the pit; and, behold, Yosef (Increaser; May God the Powerful One add [Yah]) [was] not in the pit; and he rent his clothes.

And I will give [power] unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

And his servants said unto him, Behold now, we have heard that the kings of the house of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] [are] merciful kings: let us, I pray youi, put sackcloth on our waist, and ropes upon our heads, and go out to the king of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God]: perhaps he will save youri life.

And it came to pass, when Ach’av [father’s brother] heard those words, that he rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his flesh, and fasted, and lay in sackcloth, and went softly.

And he sent Elyakim [God sets up], which [was] over the household, and Shevnah [vigour] the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to Yesha’yahu [Yehovah has saved] the prophet the son of Amotz [strong].
