But Avner [my father is a lamp] the son of Ner [lamp], captain of Sha’ul’s [desired] host, took Ish-Boshet [man of shame] the son of Sha’ul [desired], and brought him over to Machanayim [Two Camps];

And the name of Sha’ul’s [desired] wife [was] Achino’am [my brother is delight], the daughter of Achima’atz [my brother is anger (wrath)]: and the name of the captain of his host [was] Avner [my father is a lamp], the son of Ner [lamp], Sha’ul’s [desired] uncle.

And when Ya’akov saw them, he said, This [is] God-Elōhīm’s [The Living Word - The Many Powered] host: and he called the name of that place Machanayim [Two Camps] (two camps).

And Ner [lamp] begat (to be father of; be ancestor of) Kish [bent]; and Kish [bent] begat (to be father of; be ancestor of) Sha’ul [desired]; and Sha’ul [desired] begat (to be father of; be ancestor of) Y’honatan [Yehovah has Given], and Malkishua [my king is wealth], and Avinadav [my father is noble], and Eshba’al [a man of lord].

And Ner [lamp] begat (to be father of; be ancestor of) Kish [bent], and Kish [bent] begat (to be father of; be ancestor of) Sha’ul [desired], and Sha’ul [desired] begat (to be father of; be ancestor of) Y’honatan [Yehovah has Given], and Malkishua [my king is wealth], and Avinadav [my father is noble], and Eshba’al [a man of lord].

And David [beloved] cried to the people, and to Avner [my father is a lamp] the son of Ner [lamp], saying, Answer youi not, Avner [my father is a lamp]? Then Avner [my father is a lamp] answered and said, Who [are] youi [that] cries to the king?

And when Sha’ul [desired] saw David [beloved] go forth against the P’lishtim [immigrants], he said unto Avner [my father is a lamp], the captain of the host, Avner [my father is a lamp], whose son [is] this youth? And Avner [my father is a lamp] said, [As] youi soul lives, O king, I cannot tell.

And out of the tribe of Gad [Good Fortune with Troublesome Effort], Ramot [Heights] in Gil’ad [Rocky Region] with her suburbs, [to be] a city of refuge for the slayer; and Machanayim [Two Camps] with her suburbs,

Therefore now let your hands be strengthened, and be you2f valiant: for your master Sha’ul [desired] is dead, and also the house of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] have anointed me king over them.

And Avner [my father is a lamp] and his men walked all that night through the plain, and passed over Yarden [Descender], and went through all Bitron [division, or cleft (split hoof; an opening, break or split), or ravine], and they came to Machanayim [Two Camps].

And it came to pass, while there was war between the house of Sha’ul [desired] and the house of David [beloved], that Avner [my father is a lamp] made himself strong for the house of Sha’ul [desired].

Then David [beloved] came to Machanayim [Two Camps]. And Avshalom [my father is peace] passed over Yarden [Descender], he and all the men of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] with him.

And of the children of Binyamin [Son of the Right Hand/Strength], the family of Sha’ul [desired], three thousand: for up to this time the greatest part of them had kept the ward (in custody, with a guard; prison) of the house of Sha’ul [desired].

And Ya’akov (he who holds onto the heel of) sent messengers before him to ‘Esav (hairy) his brother unto the land of Se’ir (hairy, shaggy; The Hairy Guys; riding the storm), the country of Edom (red, ruddy (reddish hair or complexion)).

And the king said unto his servants, Know you2f not that there is a prince and a great man fallen this day in Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God]?

And of the children of Efrayim [Doubly Fruitful] twenty thousand and eight hundred, mighty men of valour, famous throughout the house of their fathers.
