New Messianic Version Bible

And the men of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] answered the men of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised], and said, We have ten parts in the king, and we have also more [right] in David [beloved] than you2f: why then did you2f despise us, that our advice should not be first had in bringing back our king? And the words of the men of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] were fiercer than the words of the men of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God].
