But the people answered, youi shall not go forth: for if we flee away, they will not care for us; neither if half of us die, will they care for us: but now [youi are] worth ten thousand of us: therefore now [it is] better that youi help (aid) us out of the city.

And I will come upon him while he [is] weary and weak handed, and will make him afraid: and all the people that [are] with him shall flee; and I will strike the king only:

And he said, If the Aram [Syrians] be too strong for me, then youi shall help me: but if the children of ‘Amon [Inbred] be too strong for youi, then I will come and help youi.

And the women answered [one another] as they played, and said, Sha’ul [desired] has slain his thousands, and David [beloved] his ten thousands.
