2 Samuel 18:2

And David [beloved] sent forth a third part of the people under the hand of Yo’av [Yehovah is father], and a third part under the hand of Avishai [my father is a gift] the son of Tz’ruyah [balsam], Yo’av [Yehovah is father]’s brother, and a third part under the hand of Ittai [with me] the Gitti [belonging to Gat (winepress)]. And the king said unto the people, I will surely go forth with you myself also.

And he divided the three hundred men [into] three companies, and he put a trumpet in every man’s hand, with empty pitchers, and lamps within the pitchers.

I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set [themselves] against me round about.

And he took the people, and divided them into three companies, and laid wait in the field, and looked, and, behold, the people [were] come forth out of the city; and he rose up against them, and struck them.

So Gid’on [Hewer], and the hundred men that [were] with him, came unto the outside of the camp in the beginning of the middle watch; and they had but newly set the watch: and they blew the trumpets, and broke the pitchers that [were] in their hands.

And Avishai [my father is a gift], the brother of Yo’av [Yehovah is father], the son of Tz’ruyah [balsam], was chief among three. And he lifted up his spear against three hundred, [and] killed [them], and had the name among three.

Then tidings came to Yo’av [Yehovah is father]: for Yo’av [Yehovah is father] had turned after Adoniyah [my lord is Yehovah], though he turned not after Avshalom [my father is peace]. And Yo’av [Yehovah is father] fled unto the tabernacle of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), and caught hold on the horns of the altar.

And Yo’av [Yehovah is father] the son of Tz’ruyah [balsam] [was] over the host; and Y’hoshafat [Yehovah has judged] the son of Achilud [child’s brother] [was] recorder;

But Avishai [my father is a gift] the son of Tz’ruyah [balsam] succored him, and struck the P’lishtim [immigrants], and killed him. Then the men of David [beloved] swore unto him, saying, youi shall go no more out with us to battle, that youi quench not the light of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God].
