And David [beloved] numbered the people that [were] with him, and set captains of thousands and captains of hundreds over them.

And Moshe [He Who Draws Out Of The Waters] said unto Y’hoshua [Yehovah is Salvation], Choose us out men, and go out, fight with ‘Amalek [Dweller in a Valley]: tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] in my hand.

And Moshe [He Who Draws Out Of The Waters] chose able men out of all Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God], and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.

And Moshe [He Who Draws Out Of The Waters] was exceedingly angry with the officers of the host, [with] the captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, which came from the battle.

Then Sha’ul [desired] said unto his servants that stood about him, Hear now, you2f Binyamini; will the son of Yishai [I possess] give everyone of you fields and vineyards, [and] make you all captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds;

Moreover youi shall provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], men of truth, hating covetousness; and place [such] over them, [to be] rulers of thousands, [and] rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:

And it shall be, when the officers have made an end of speaking unto the people, that they shall make captains of the armies to lead the people.
