Now therefore send quickly, and tell David [beloved], saying, Lodge not this night in the plains of the wilderness, but speedily pass over; lest the king be swallow (to approve, commend, accept)ed up, and all the people that [are] with him.

See, I will wait in the plain of the wilderness, until there come word from you to certify me.

For we that are in [this] tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

He shall send from heaven, and save me [from] the reproach (disgrace; shame) of him that would swallow (to approve, commend, accept) me up. Selah [stop and diligently consider what was just said]. God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] shall send forth his mercy and his truth.

And Y’honatan [Yehovah has Given] cried after the boy, Make speed, haste, stay not. And Y’honatan [Yehovah has Given]’s boy gathered up the arrows, and came to his master.

And [have youi] not there with youi Tzadok [righteous] and Avyatar [my father is great] the priests? therefore it shall be, [that] what thing soever youi shall hear out of the king’s house, youi shall tell [it] to Tzadok [righteous] and Avyatar [my father is great] the priests.
