2 Samuel 13:3New Messianic Version BibleBut Amnon [faithful] had a friend, whose name [was] Yonadav [Yehovah is willing] [Generous], the son of Shim’ah [report] David’s [beloved]’s brother: and Yonadav [Yehovah is willing] [Generous] [was] a very subtle man. See the chapter |
And Haman [magnificent] told Zeresh [gold] his wife and all his friends every [thing] that had befallen him. Then said his wise men and Zeresh [gold] his wife unto him, If Mordekhai [little man] [be] of the seed of the Y’hudim (Judeans), before whom youi have begun to fall, youi shall not prevail against him, but shall surely fall before him.
Then said Zeresh [gold] his wife and all his friends unto him, Let a gallow (to approve, commend, accept)s be made of fifty cubits high, and tomorrow speak youi unto the king that Mordekhai [little man] may be hanged thereon: then go youi in merrily with the king unto the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman [magnificent]; and he caused the gallow (to approve, commend, accept)s to be made.
And Yo’av [Yehovah is father] sent to T’koa [trumpet blast], and fetched there a wise woman, and said unto her, I pray youi, feign (to pretend to be; to disguise) yourself to be a mourner, and put on now mourning apparel, and anoint not yourself with oil, but be as a woman that had a long time mourned for the dead:
And Yonadav [Yehovah is willing] [Generous], the son of Shim’ah [report] David’s [beloved]’s brother, answered and said, Let not my lord suppose [that] they have slain all the young men the king’s sons; for Amnon [faithful] only is dead: for by the appointment of Avshalom [my father is peace] this has been determined from the day that he forced his sister Tamar [palm-tree].
Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) God-Elōhīm [The Living Word - The Many Powered] had made. And he said unto the woman, Yes, has God-Elōhīm [The Living Word - The Many Powered] said, youf shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
