And it came to pass after two full years, that Avshalom [my father is peace] had sheepshearers in Ba’al-Hatzor [lord of the village], which [is] beside Efrayim [Doubly Fruitful]: and Avshalom [my father is peace] invited all the king’s sons.

And now I have heard that youi have shearers: now youri shepherds which were with us, we hurt them not, neither was there ought missing unto them, all the while they were in Carmel [Garden-land].

And [there was] a man in Ma’on [Habitation], whose possessions [were] in Carmel [Garden-land]; and the man [was] very great, and he had three thousand sheep, and a thousand goats: and he was shearing his sheep in Carmel [Garden-land].

And Avshalom [my father is peace] came to the king, and said, Behold now, youri servant has sheepshearers; let the king, I beseech (to call upon; appeal; beg) youi, and his servants go with youi servant.

And Lavan went to shear his sheep: and Rachel had stolen the images that [were] her father’s.
