And when the children of ‘Amon [Inbred] saw that they stank before David [beloved], the children of ‘Amon [Inbred] sent and hired the children of Aram [Syrians] of Beit-Rechov [House of the Street], and the Aram [Syrians] of Tzovah [station], twenty thousand footmen, and of king Ma’akhah [oppression] [oppression] a thousand men, and of Ish-Tov [man of goodness] twelve thousand men.

And when the Aram [Syrians] of Dammesek (Damascus) [silent is the sackcloth weaver] came to aid Hadad’ezer [mighty - meaning disputed] king of Tzovah [station], David [beloved] killed of the Aram [Syrians] two and twenty thousand men.

David [beloved] struck also Hadad’ezer [mighty’meaning disputed], the son of Rechov [Broad Place], king of Tzovah [station], as he went to recover his border at the river Euphrates (to break forth, to gush).

And Akhish [meaning disputed; I will blacken (or terrify) or only a man] believed David [beloved], saying, He has made his people Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] utterly to abhor him; therefore he shall be my servant forever.

And [there was] no deliverer, because it [was] far from Tzidon [Hunting], and they had no business with [any] man; and it was in the valley that [lies] by Beit-Rechov [House of the Street]. And they built a city, and dwelt in it.

And it was so, that when the children of ‘Amon [Inbred] made war against Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God], the elders of Gil’ad [Rocky Region] went to fetch Yiftach [He Opens] out of the land of Tov [Good]:

Then Yiftach [He Opens] fled from his brethren, and dwelt in the land of Tov [Good]: and there were gathered vain men to Yiftach [He Opens], and went out with him.

Go not forth hastily to strive, lest [youi know not] what to do in the end thereof, when youi neighbour has put youi to shame.

Of Aram (Syria) [exalted], and of Mo’av [Seed of my Father], and of the children of ‘Amon [Inbred], and of the P’lishtim [Immigrants], and of ‘Amalek [Dweller in a Valley], and of the spoil (plunder; prey; booty) of Hadad’ezer [mighty - meaning disputed], son of Rechov [Broad Place], king of Tzovah [station].

And all Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] heard say [that] Sha’ul [desired] had smitten a Garrison (fortification; military post) of the P’lishtim [Immigrants], and [that] Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] also was had in abomination with the P’lishtim [Immigrants]. And the people were called together after Sha’ul [desired] to Gilgal [A Wheel, Rolling].

Ya’ir [He Enlightens] the son of M’nasheh [Causing to Forget] took all the country of Argov [Heap of Clods] unto the coasts of G’shuri [Bridge] and Ma’akhati [Oppression]; and called them after his own name, Bashan-Havot-Ya’ir [Fruitful Villages of the Enlightened Ones], unto this day.

And they said unto them, The Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) look upon you, and judge; because you2f have made our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Par’oh [Pharaoh - Great House], and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.

When they told [it] unto David [beloved], he sent to meet them, because the men were greatly ashamed: and the king said, Tarry at Yericho [Its Moon] until your beards be grown, and [then] return.

And when David [beloved] heard of [it], he sent Yo’av [Yehovah is father], and all the host of the mighty men.

Elifelet [God is deliverance] the son of Achasbai [brother of my encompassers], the son of the Ma’akhati [pressure (literally, she has pressed)], Eli’am [God of the people, or God is kinsman] the son of Achitofel [my brother i foolish] the Giloni [gentilic of preceding],

For the Lord-Adonai (The Father) [greatest above all] had made the host of the Aram [Syrians] to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, [even] the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Wow!, the king of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] has hired against us the kings of the Hitti [Terrorists], and the kings of the Mitzri, to come upon us.

For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.

Then they came to G’dalyahu [Yehovah is great] to Mitzpah [watchtower], even Yishma’el [God will hear] the son of N’tanyah [given of Yehovah], and Yochanan [Yehovah has graced] and Y’honatan [Yehovah has Given] the sons of Kareach [bald], and S’rayah [Yehovah is ruler] the son of Tanchumet [consolation], and the sons of ‘Efai [gloomy] the N’tofati [dropping], and Y’zanyahu [Yehovah has listened] the son of a Ma’akhati [pressure (literally, she has pressed)], they and their men.

Also her hired men [are] in the midst of her like fatted bullocks; for they also are turned back, [and] are fled away together: they did not stand, because the day of their calamity was come upon them, [and] the time of their visitation.

And Achitofel [my brother i foolish] said unto Avshalom [my father is peace], Go in unto youi father’s concubines, which he has left to keep the house; and all Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] shall hear that youi are abhorred of youi father: then shall the hands of all that [are] with youi be strong.

And he gathered men unto him, and became captain over a band, when David [beloved] killed them [of Tzovah [station]]: and they went to Dammesek (Damascus) [silent is the sackcloth weaver], and dwelt in it, and reigned in Dammesek (Damascus) [silent is the sackcloth weaver].
