Then the king arose, and tare his garments, and lay on the earth; and all his servants stood by with their clothes rent.

And David [beloved] said to Yo’av [Yehovah is father], and to all the people that [were] with him, Rend (tear apart; forcefully rip apart) your clothes, and gird you with sackcloth, and mourn before Avner [my father is a lamp]. And king David [beloved] [himself] followed the bier.

And Re’uven (behold a son) returned unto the pit; and, behold, Yosef (Increaser; May God the Powerful One add [Yah]) [was] not in the pit; and he rent his clothes.

And Ya’akov (he who holds onto the heel of) rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his waist, and mourned for his son many days.

And when I heard this thing, I rent my garment and my Mantle (cloak; covering garment) (cloak), and plucked off the hair of my head and of my beard, and sat down astonished.

When Mordekhai [little man] perceived all that was done, Mordekhai [little man] rent his clothes, and put on sackcloth with ashes, and went out into the midst of the city, and cried with a loud and a bitter cry;

Yet they were not afraid, nor rent their garments, [neither] the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words.

And rend (tear apart; forcefully rip apart) your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) your God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]: for he [is] gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repents him of the evil.

And it came to pass, when the king of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, [Am] I God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], to kill and to make alive, that this man does send unto me to heal a man of his leprosy? Therefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeks a quarrel against me.
