2 Samuel 1:11New Messianic Version BibleThen David [beloved] took hold on his clothes, and rent them; and likewise all the men that [were] with him: See the chapter |
Because youri heart was tender, and youi did humble yourself before God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], when youi heard his words against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, and humbled yourself before me, and did rend (tear apart; forcefully rip apart) youri clothes, and weep before me; I have even heard [youi] also, says the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).
And it came to pass, when the king of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, [Am] I God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], to kill and to make alive, that this man does send unto me to heal a man of his leprosy? Therefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeks a quarrel against me.
