According as his divine power has given unto us all things that [pertain] unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that has called us to glory and virtue (power):

For you2f have need of patience, that, after you2f have done the will of God-The Father, you2f might receive the promise.

In your patience possess you2f your souls.

For what reason seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which does so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

And every man that strives for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they [do it] to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

Meekness, self-control: against such there is no law.

Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God-The Father, and the faith of Yeshua [God is Salvation].

I know youri works, and youri labour, and youri patience, and how youi can not bear them which are evil: and youi have tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and have found them liars:

But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;

Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord - Kurios [he to whom a person belongs] Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah], in the sight of God-The Father and our Father;

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

But in all [things] approving ourselves as the ministers of God-The Father, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

But if we hope for that we see not, [then] do we with patience wait for [it].

To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

And as he reasoned of righteousness, self-control, and judgment to come, Felix [happy] trembled, and answered, Go youri way for this time; when I have a convenient (fit; appropriate; proper (one’s own; peculiar; particular)) season, I will call for youi.

But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep [it], and bring forth fruit with patience.

Rest in the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], and wait patiently for him: be troubled (be grieved; be displeased) not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

He that leads into captivity shall go into captivity: he that kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

I Yochanan [Yehovah has graced], who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah], was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God-The Father, and for the testimony of Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah].

[Seeing] then [that] all these things shall be dissolved, what manner [of persons] ought you2f to be in [all] holy Conversation (behavior; way of life; community) and godliness,

And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

That you2f be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Sha’ul [desired], a slave of God-The Father, and an apostle of Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah], according to the faith of God-The Father’s elect, and the acknowledging of the twhich is after godliness;

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

But youi, O man of God-The Father, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

But godliness with contentment is great gain.

If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, [even] the words of our Lord - Kurios [he to whom a person belongs] Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah], and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God-The Father was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit [Ruach], seen of angels, preached unto the Goyim [Gentiles], believed on in the world, received up into glory.

But (which becomes women professing godliness) with good works.

For kings, and [for] all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

And the Lord - Kurios direct your hearts into the love of God-The Father, and into the patient waiting for Moshiach [Messiah].

So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God-The Father for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you2f endure:

The righteous perishes, and no man lays [it] to heart: and merciful men [are] taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil [to come].

And Hanokh (trained and vowed, dedicated; profound (go deep into something)) walked with God-Elōhīm [The Living Word - The Many Powered]: and he [was] not; for God-Elōhīm [The Living Word - The Many Powered] took him.
