youi shall not wrest judgment; youi shall not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift does blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.
For the love of money is a root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
[He that] puts not out his money to usury (interest paid for using money), nor takes reward against the innocent. He that does these [things] shall never be moved.
Moreover youi shall provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], men of truth, hating covetousness; and place [such] over them, [to be] rulers of thousands, [and] rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:
He that walks righteously, and speaks uprightly; he that despises the gain of oppressions, that shakes his hands from holding of bribes, that stops his ears from hearing of blood, and shuts his eyes from seeing evil;
Avshalom [my father is peace] said moreover, Oh that I were made judge in the land, that every man which has any suit or cause might come unto me, and I would do him justice!
And who knows whether he shall be a wise [man] or a fool? yet shall he have rule over all my labour wherein I have laboured, and wherein I have showed myself wise under the sun. This [is] also vanity.
And I will raise me up a faithful priest, [that] shall do according to [that] which [is] in my heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before my anointed forever.
And now, behold, the king walks before you: and I am old and grayheaded; and, behold, my sons [are] with you: and I have walked before you from my childhood unto this day.
Your1s princes [are] rebellious, and companions of thieves: everyone loves gifts, and follows after rewards: they defend not the fatherless, neither does the cause of the widow come unto them.
The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), and say, [Is] not the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) among us? none evil can come upon us.
