When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, [saying], youi have clothing, be youi our ruler, and [let] this ruin [be] under youri hand:
And the priest answered David [beloved], and said, [There is] no common bread under my hand, but there is consecrated bread; if the young men have kept themselves at least from women.
And would to God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] this people were under my hand! then would I remove Avi-Melekh [My Father is King]. And he said to Avi-Melekh [My Father is King], Increase youi army, and come out.
And David [beloved] said unto Achi-Melekh [my brother is king] the priest, The king has commanded me a business, and has said unto me, Let no man know anything of the business about which I send youi, and what I have commanded youi: and I have appointed [my] servants to such and such a place.
