Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness (being lustful, loose or lewd; promoting lustful desires in others), an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

‘may I not do according to my desire? Is there evil in your eyes when I am good?’

And Ya’akov beheld the Countenance (Face, appearance; show favor) of Lavan, and, behold, it [was] not toward him as before.

Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest you2f be condemned: behold, the judge stands before the door.

And Sha’ul [desired] was very exceedingly angry, and the saying displeased him; nd he said, They have ascribed unto David [beloved] ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed [but] thousands: and [what] can he have more but the kingdom?

And it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] came upon Sha’ul [desired], and he prophesied in the midst of the house: and David [beloved] played with his hand, as at other times: and [there was] a javelin in Sha’ul’s [desired] hand.

And Sha’ul [desired] spoke to Y’honatan [Yehovah has Given] his son, and to all his servants, that they should kill David [beloved].

Wrath [is] cruel, and anger [is] outrageous; but who [is] able to stand before envy?

Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This [is] also vanity and anguish of spirit.
