And the name of the man [was] Eli-Melekh [my God is king], and the name of his wife Na’omi [my delight], and the name of his two sons Machlon [sick] and Kilyon [pining], Efratim [ashiness: fruitfulness] from Beit-Lechem [House of Bread] in Y’hudah. And they came into the country of Mo’av [Seed of my Father], and settled there.
And the Gil’adi took the passages of Yarden [Descender] before the Efrayim [Doubly Fruitful]: and it was [so], that when those Efrayim [Doubly Fruitful] which were escaped said, Let me go over; that the men of Gil’ad [Rocky Region] aid unto him, [Are] youi an Efrayimiti [Doubly Fruitful]? If he said, No;
And he passed through mount Efrayim [Doubly Fruitful], and passed through the land of Shalishah [night monster; hobgoblin], but they found [them] not: then they passed through the land of Sha’alim [foxes], and [there they were] not: and he passed through the land of the Binyamini, but they found [them] not.
