1 Peter 4:3New Messianic Version BibleFor the time past of [our] life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Goyim [Gentiles], when we walked in lasciviousness (being lustful, loose or lewd; promoting lustful desires in others), lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings (drinking, gluttony; rich partying), and abominable idolatries: See the chapter |
Thus says the Lord-Adonai [Greatest Above All Things] GOD-Yehōvih (THE FATHER); Let it suffice you, O princes of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God]: remove violence and spoil (plunder; prey; booty), and execute judgment and justice, take away your exactions from my people, says the Lord-Adonai [Greatest Above All Things] GOD-Yehōvih (THE FATHER).
For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God-The Father into lasciviousness (being lustful, loose or lewd; promoting lustful desires in others), and denying the only Lord - Kurios God-The Father, and our Lord - Kurios [he to whom a person belongs] Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah].
[And] lest, when I come again, my God-The Father will humble me among you, and [that] I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness (being lustful, loose or lewd; promoting lustful desires in others) which they have committed.
And when Asa [healer; injurious?] heard these words, and the prophecy of ‘Oded [restorer] the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] and Binyamin [Son of the Right Hand/Strength], and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Efrayim [Doubly Fruitful], and renewed the altar of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), that [was] before the porch of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).
