And they were singing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb: “Great and marvelous are your works, O Lord God, the Almighty. Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations.

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am El-Shaddai—‘God Almighty.’ Serve me faithfully and live a blameless life.

Only Aaron and his descendants served as priests. They presented the offerings on the altar of burnt offering and the altar of incense, and they performed all the other duties related to the Most Holy Place. They made atonement for Israel by doing everything that Moses, the servant of God, had commanded them.

So the king called for Jehoiada the high priest and asked him, “Why haven’t you demanded that the Levites go out and collect the Temple taxes from the towns of Judah and from Jerusalem? Moses, the servant of the Lord, levied this tax on the community of Israel in order to maintain the Tabernacle of the Covenant.”

You instructed them concerning your holy Sabbath. And you commanded them, through Moses your servant, to obey all your commands, decrees, and instructions.

Instead, glorify his mighty works, singing songs of praise.

He does great things too marvelous to understand. He performs countless miracles.

For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.

Remember the wonders he has performed, his miracles, and the rulings he has given,

How amazing are the deeds of the Lord! All who delight in him should ponder them.

All he does is just and good, and all his commandments are trustworthy.

Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.

The Lord is righteous in everything he does; he is filled with kindness.

Your awe-inspiring deeds will be on every tongue; I will proclaim your greatness.

God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.

the miracles he did for their ancestors on the plain of Zoan in the land of Egypt.

O Lord, what great works you do! And how deep are your thoughts.

Mighty King, lover of justice, you have established fairness. You have acted with justice and righteousness throughout Israel.

For the Lord is our judge, our lawgiver, and our king. He will care for us and save us.

Consult together, argue your case. Get together and decide what to say. Who made these things known so long ago? What idol ever told you they would happen? Was it not I, the Lord? For there is no other God but me, a righteous God and Savior. There is none but me.

When he got there, he called out in anguish, “Daniel, servant of the living God! Was your God, whom you serve so faithfully, able to rescue you from the lions?”

All Israel has disobeyed your instruction and turned away, refusing to listen to your voice. “So now the solemn curses and judgments written in the Law of Moses, the servant of God, have been poured down on us because of our sin.

Let those who are wise understand these things. Let those with discernment listen carefully. The paths of the Lord are true and right, and righteous people live by walking in them. But in those paths sinners stumble and fall.

You will show us your faithfulness and unfailing love as you promised to our ancestors Abraham and Jacob long ago.

But the Lord is still there in the city, and he does no wrong. Day by day he hands down justice, and he does not fail. But the wicked know no shame.

Rejoice, O people of Zion! Shout in triumph, O people of Jerusalem! Look, your king is coming to you. He is righteous and victorious, yet he is humble, riding on a donkey— riding on a donkey’s colt.

For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ.

So Moses recited this entire song publicly to the assembly of Israel:

I will proclaim the name of the Lord; how glorious is our God!

So Moses, the servant of the Lord, died there in the land of Moab, just as the Lord had said.

All honor and glory to God forever and ever! He is the eternal King, the unseen one who never dies; he alone is God. Amen.

Moses was certainly faithful in God’s house as a servant. His work was an illustration of the truths God would reveal later.

But be very careful to obey all the commands and the instructions that Moses gave to you. Love the Lord your God, walk in all his ways, obey his commands, hold firmly to him, and serve him with all your heart and all your soul.”

“I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.”

And they said, “We give thanks to you, Lord God, the Almighty, the one who is and who always was, for now you have assumed your great power and have begun to reign.

This great choir sang a wonderful new song in front of the throne of God and before the four living beings and the twenty-four elders. No one could learn this song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.

Then another angel followed him through the sky, shouting, “Babylon is fallen—that great city is fallen—because she made all the nations of the world drink the wine of her passionate immorality.”

Together they will go to war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will defeat them because he is Lord of all lords and King of all kings. And his called and chosen and faithful ones will be with him.”

On his robe at his thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords.

His judgments are true and just. He has punished the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her immorality. He has avenged the murder of his servants.”

Each of these living beings had six wings, and their wings were covered all over with eyes, inside and out. Day after day and night after night they keep on saying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty— the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come.”
