“The Lord came from Mount Sinai and dawned upon us from Mount Seir; he shone forth from Mount Paran and came from Meribah-kadesh with flaming fire at his right hand.

Now may the God of peace— who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood—

Once you were like sheep who wandered away. But now you have turned to your Shepherd, the Guardian of your souls.

And when the Great Shepherd appears, you will receive a crown of never-ending glory and honor.

And the city has no need of sun or moon, for the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its light.

So they sent men to Shiloh to bring the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, who is enthroned between the cherubim. Hophni and Phinehas, the sons of Eli, were also there with the Ark of the Covenant of God.
