King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba whatever she asked for—gifts of greater value than the gifts she had given him. Then she and all her attendants returned to their own land.

He grants the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cries for help and rescues them.

For you have given him his heart’s desire; you have withheld nothing he requested. Interlude

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.

The godly can look forward to a reward, while the wicked can expect only judgment.
