But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and livestock with him in the boat. He sent a wind to blow across the earth, and the floodwaters began to recede.

He commanded the Red Sea to dry up. He led Israel across the sea as if it were a desert.

Then at your command, O Lord, at the blast of your breath, the bottom of the sea could be seen, and the foundations of the earth were laid bare.

Your thunder roared from the whirlwind; the lightning lit up the world! The earth trembled and shook.

I was there when he set the clouds above, when he established springs deep in the earth.

When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm.
