How I praise the Lord that you are concerned about me again. I know you have always been concerned for me, but you didn’t have the chance to help me.

When Hezekiah and his officials came and saw these huge piles, they thanked the Lord and his people Israel!

Won’t you revive us again, so your people can rejoice in you?

My people will again live under my shade. They will flourish like grain and blossom like grapevines. They will be as fragrant as the wines of Lebanon.

And when I was with you and didn’t have enough to live on, I did not become a financial burden to anyone. For the brothers who came from Macedonia brought me all that I needed. I have never been a burden to you, and I never will be.

We faithfully preach the truth. God’s power is working in us. We use the weapons of righteousness in the right hand for attack and the left hand for defense.

Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.

Those who are taught the word of God should provide for their teachers, sharing all good things with them.

This letter is from Paul and Timothy, slaves of Christ Jesus. I am writing to all of God’s holy people in Philippi who belong to Christ Jesus, including the church leaders and deacons.

Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God.

For he risked his life for the work of Christ, and he was at the point of death while doing for me what you couldn’t do from far away.
