But if wicked people turn away from all their sins and begin to obey my decrees and do what is just and right, they will surely live and not die.

“Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against a fellow Israelite, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.

No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

“At that time I will put you on trial. I am eager to witness against all sorcerers and adulterers and liars. “Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose.

Do to others as you would like them to do to you.

The purpose of my instruction is that all believers would be filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and genuine faith.

Yes indeed, it is good when you obey the royal law as found in the Scriptures: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
