Jesus instructed his disciples to have a boat ready so the crowd would not crush him.
Then Jesus sent the people home, and he got into a boat and crossed over to the region of Magadan.
Once again Jesus began teaching by the lakeshore. A very large crowd soon gathered around him, so he got into a boat. Then he sat in the boat while all the people remained on the shore.
So they took Jesus in the boat and started out, leaving the crowds behind (although other boats followed).
When Jesus climbed out of the boat, a man possessed by an evil spirit came out from the tombs to meet him.
Jesus realized at once that healing power had gone out from him, so he turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my robe?”
So they left by boat for a quiet place, where they could be alone.
One day as Jesus was preaching on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, great crowds pressed in on him to listen to the word of God.
Stepping into one of the boats, Jesus asked Simon, its owner, to push it out into the water. So he sat in the boat and taught the crowds from there.
When Jesus saw that they were ready to force him to be their king, he slipped away into the hills by himself.
