“All right,” Jeremiah replied. “I will pray to the Lord your God, as you have asked, and I will tell you everything he says. I will hide nothing from you.”

I have not kept the good news of your justice hidden in my heart; I have talked about your faithfulness and saving power. I have told everyone in the great assembly of your unfailing love and faithfulness.

Moses answered, “As soon as I leave you, I will pray to the Lord, and tomorrow the swarms of flies will disappear from you and your officials and all your people. But I am warning you, Pharaoh, don’t lie to us again and refuse to let the people go to sacrifice to the Lord.”

You should keep asking each other, ‘What is the Lord’s answer?’ or ‘What is the Lord saying?’

You must give them my messages whether they listen or not. But they won’t listen, for they are completely rebellious!

I never shrank back from telling you what you needed to hear, either publicly or in your homes.

for I didn’t shrink from declaring all that God wants you to know.

Dear brothers and sisters, the longing of my heart and my prayer to God is for the people of Israel to be saved.

“As for me, I will certainly not sin against the Lord by ending my prayers for you. And I will continue to teach you what is good and right.
