Joseph, to whom she was engaged, was a righteous man and did not want to disgrace her publicly, so he decided to break the engagement quietly.

“A brother will betray his brother to death, a father will betray his own child, and children will rebel against their parents and cause them to be killed.

The Jewish leaders were infuriated by Stephen’s accusation, and they shook their fists at him in rage.

After a while some of the Jews plotted together to kill him.
