There was also Benaiah son of Jehoiada, a valiant warrior from Kabzeel. He did many heroic deeds, which included killing two champions of Moab. Another time, on a snowy day, he chased a lion down into a pit and killed it.

Benaiah son of Jehoiada was captain of the king’s bodyguard. And David’s sons served as the king’s chief assistants.

The leaders of Edom are terrified; the nobles of Moab tremble. All who live in Canaan melt away;

The towns of Judah situated along the borders of Edom in the extreme south were Kabzeel, Eder, Jagur,
