All Israel will mourn for him and bury him. He is the only member of your family who will have a proper burial, for this child is the only good thing that the Lord, the God of Israel, sees in the entire family of Jeroboam.

When Jehu died, he was buried in Samaria. Then his son Jehoahaz became the next king.

Jehoash son of Jehoahaz began to rule over Israel in the thirty-seventh year of King Joash’s reign in Judah. He reigned in Samaria sixteen years.

When Jehoash died, he was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel. Then his son Jeroboam II became the next king.
