New Living Translation

So King Solomon finished all his work on the Temple of the Lord. Then he brought all the gifts his father, David, had dedicated—the silver, the gold, and the various articles—and he stored them in the treasuries of the Lord’s Temple.

He brought into the Temple of the Lord the silver and gold and the various items that he and his father had dedicated.

So Solomon finished building the Temple.

After completing the Temple structure, Solomon put in a ceiling made of cedar beams and planks.

The captain of the guard also took the incense burners and basins, and all the other articles made of pure gold or silver.

So Solomon finished all his work on the Temple of the Lord. Then he brought all the gifts his father, David, had dedicated—the silver, the gold, and the various articles—and he stored them in the treasuries of the Temple of God.

Solomon did not deviate in any way from David’s commands concerning the priests and Levites and the treasuries.

The Temple was completed on March 12, during the sixth year of King Darius’s reign.

Then he hung the curtains forming the courtyard around the Tabernacle and the altar. And he set up the curtain at the entrance of the courtyard. So at last Moses finished the work.

“Zerubbabel is the one who laid the foundation of this Temple, and he will complete it. Then you will know that the Lord of Heaven’s Armies has sent me.
