The Lord reigns; Let the peoples tremble! He dwells between the cherubim; Let the earth be moved!

And David arose and went with all the people who were with him from Baale Judah to bring up from there the ark of God, whose name is called by the Name, the Lord of Hosts, who dwells between the cherubim.

Tremble before Him, all the earth. The world also is firmly established, It shall not be moved.

And He rode upon a cherub, and flew; He flew upon the wings of the wind.

“Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion.”

Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, You who lead Joseph like a flock; You who dwell between the cherubim, shine forth!

Before Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh, Stir up Your strength, And come and save us!

They do not know, nor do they understand; They walk about in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are unstable.

The Lord reigns, He is clothed with majesty; The Lord is clothed, He has girded Himself with strength. Surely the world is established, so that it cannot be moved.

Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns; The world also is firmly established, It shall not be moved; He shall judge the peoples righteously.”

Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth.

The Lord reigns; Let the earth rejoice; Let the multitude of isles be glad!

His lightnings light the world; The earth sees and trembles.

And there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the Testimony, about everything which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel.

The Lord has mingled a perverse spirit in her midst; And they have caused Egypt to err in all her work, As a drunken man staggers in his vomit.

I beheld the mountains, and indeed they trembled, And all the hills moved back and forth.

The earth shakes at the noise of their fall; At the cry its noise is heard at the Red Sea.

Do you not fear Me?’ says the Lord. ‘Will you not tremble at My presence, Who have placed the sand as the bound of the sea, By a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass beyond it? And though its waves toss to and fro, Yet they cannot prevail; Though they roar, yet they cannot pass over it.

At the noise of the taking of Babylon The earth trembles, And the cry is heard among the nations.

And He said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of My throne and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel forever. No more shall the house of Israel defile My holy name, they nor their kings, by their harlotry or with the carcasses of their kings on their high places.

Therefore He said: “A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return.

But his citizens hated him, and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We will not have this man to reign over us.’

But bring here those enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, and slay them before me.’ ”

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

saying: “We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power and reigned.

Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.

Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place.
