Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You?

O Lord, I have heard Your speech and was afraid; O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; In wrath remember mercy.

Then we will not turn back from You; Revive us, and we will call upon Your name.

For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Oh, satisfy us early with Your mercy, That we may rejoice and be glad all our days!

After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight.

You, who have shown me great and severe troubles, Shall revive me again, And bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When God brings back the captivity of His people, Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me.

the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who will say: “Praise the Lord of hosts, For the Lord is good, For His mercy endures forever”— and of those who will bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord. For I will cause the captives of the land to return as at the first,’ says the Lord.

Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

O God, why have You cast us off forever? Why does Your anger smoke against the sheep of Your pasture?

Has His mercy ceased forever? Has His promise failed forevermore?

Will He remain angry forever? Will He keep it to the end?’ Behold, you have spoken and done evil things, As you were able.”
