Break their teeth in their mouth, O God! Break out the fangs of the young lions, O Lord!

Arise, O Lord; Save me, O my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheekbone; You have broken the teeth of the ungodly.

And the remnant of Jacob Shall be among the Gentiles, In the midst of many peoples, Like a lion among the beasts of the forest, Like a young lion among flocks of sheep, Who, if he passes through, Both treads down and tears in pieces, And none can deliver.

Look, a people rises like a lioness, And lifts itself up like a lion; It shall not lie down until it devours the prey, And drinks the blood of the slain.”

Who can open the doors of his face, With his terrible teeth all around?

A serpent may bite when it is not charmed; The babbler is no different.

“For behold, I will send serpents among you, Vipers which cannot be charmed, And they shall bite you,” says the Lord.
