For her rich men are full of violence, Her inhabitants have spoken lies, And their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.
A man who flatters his neighbor Spreads a net for his feet.
Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like graves which are not seen, and the men who walk over them are not aware of them.”
Your tongue devises destruction, Like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.
“The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?
O Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, That you may be saved. How long shall your evil thoughts lodge within you?
They devise iniquities: “We have perfected a shrewd scheme.” Both the inward thought and the heart of man are deep.
Surely men of low degree are a vapor, Men of high degree are a lie; If they are weighed on the scales, They are altogether lighter than vapor.

The way of the just is uprightness; O Most Upright, You weigh the path of the just.
