Psalm 25:7

New King James Version

Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; According to Your mercy remember me, For Your goodness’ sake, O Lord.

For You write bitter things against me, And make me inherit the iniquities of my youth.

His bones are full of his youthful vigor, But it will lie down with him in the dust.

Blessed are those who keep justice, And he who does righteousness at all times!

Remember me, O Lord, with the favor You have toward Your people. Oh, visit me with Your salvation,

Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the Lord, And let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.

Because he did not remember to show mercy, But persecuted the poor and needy man, That he might even slay the broken in heart.

Help me, O Lord my God! Oh, save me according to Your mercy,

Deal with Your servant according to Your mercy, And teach me Your statutes.

Make Your face shine upon Your servant; Save me for Your mercies’ sake.

Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions.

Return, O Lord, deliver me! Oh, save me for Your mercies’ sake!

Oh, do not remember former iniquities against us! Let Your tender mercies come speedily to meet us, For we have been brought very low.

Indeed it was for my own peace That I had great bitterness; But You have lovingly delivered my soul from the pit of corruption, For You have cast all my sins behind Your back.

“I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins.

For My own sake, for My own sake, I will do it; For how should My name be profaned? And I will not give My glory to another.

Do not be furious, O Lord, Nor remember iniquity forever; Indeed, please look—we all are Your people!

We lie down in our shame, And our reproach covers us. For we have sinned against the Lord our God, We and our fathers, From our youth even to this day, And have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God.”

No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”

Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”

Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”
